History of the Lodge


Where it all began ..... 

 

On June the 17th 1946, W.Bro F.C. Perrett called a meeting of the Masonic Brethren residing in St Johns Avenue,  to discuss the possibility of forming a new Mason Lodge in the parish of St John’s Kidderminster.

 

The Hope and Charity Lodge No: 377 was asked to sponsor the New Lodge – to be be called the St John’s Lodge.  Enquiries were made regarding the rent of the Masonic Rooms at the Lion Hotel. A meeting of the founders was organised at the Lion Hotel on Monday the 1st June 1946 at 7:30pm.
